Interior shot of St Paschal LibraryThe library is also the main campus library for the Yarra Theological Union, one of the four Recognized Teaching Institutions of the Melbourne College of Divinity.

St Paschal Library is also open to the public.

The library houses a number of specialised collections. In 1988 the Society of the Divine Word (SVD) amalgamated its Missiology collection into St Paschal Library, and in 1995 the YTU collection was integrated. As the combined purpose of the three bodies is towards the education of Catholic clergy and laity, the combination enriches the overall collection.
